Matt Robinson is a netminder for an intramural team at the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton, but he’s no minor leaguer when it comes to poetry.
His colour commentary leans toward analysis rather than simple description, for his goal is to explore the metaphysics of the game. It also tends toward inventive wordplay…and literary polish, even when describing the grittier aspects of the game.
