…This book not only offers exceptional profiles on the teams they feel deserved to be recognized, but it also begins with an historical review of the earliest documented origins of how tag teams wrestling got started.
…There are also some great historical photographs combined with many new ones throughout the book. Many of the more recent photos are the result of many reunions of the teams present at various legends events. The most interesting part of this is the “before and after” effect the comparison photographs provide the reader.
Oliver and Johnson have put out a quality product that would be both educational and fun for all wrestling fans, no matter what era you may prefer. I cannot imagine anyone reading it without having a few laughs at never before printed stories, but also taking new nuggets of information not previously shared or widely known.
This book has found a place on my own personal Top 10 books written about wrestling. The resource information it provides is limitless. Put me down for any book these gentlemen plan on writing in the future.
