This is an impressive debut…All Shook Up is as slick and twisty as its title promises, and it’s a lot of fun.
…Harrison has a fine, tight writing style. His dialogue is crisp and matches the characters. He’s a disciple of Robert B. Parker, using description to flesh out character, and has a fine eye for detail. Harrison plans the Dancer books to be a series, and if the next couple are as good as this, watch out for him.
