When Matt Robinson…skates onto the ice for a game of hockey, he sees not only his team and the opposition, but also the poetry of the game. It is not known if Robinson actually composes verses as the play goes on, but he certainly replays the action in smooth imagery later.
Every move by player, coach or fan is described with accuracy and precision. Like skates cutting across the freshly Zambonied ice surface, these poems recreate a passion for the game that is intense and ever so emotional.
