Mad Dogs, Midgets and Screw Jobs launch brings out Montreal wrestling royalty

To celebrate the launch of their new book, Mad Dogs, Midgets and Screw Jobs: The Untold Story of how Montreal Shaped the World of WrestlingPat Laprade and Bertrand Hebert threw a party at La Cage Aux Sports in Montreal. Journalists and Montreal wrestling greats were out in force to celebrate the book that tells the story of what was the proving ground for some of the biggest names in wrestling, including Andre the Giant, Abdullah the Butcher, and the infamous Mad Dog Vachon. Montreal was the site of the first midget battle ever; and made famous worldwide for the infamous Survivor Series screw job that saw Vince McMahon, the Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels, and Bret Hart create the “attitude” that reshaped the business.
