I am looking forward to reading this book. I have long followed Dr Gifford-Jones columns and fiind him to be interesting, "outside the box", relevant and worth reading
I have been reading and following Dr G Jones since 1979 when our family desperately needed the best pain relief possible. Sadly it was not to be. Forward to 2010 & the community I live in the Niagara area is blessed with a Palliative care Doc who is now able to provide this.................
I'm also looking forward to obtaining the book ! The good doctor has helped so many of us with his advice; it's the least I can do to thank him !
I agree with you! The good doctor has been a breath of fresh air, with no-nonsense and helpful advice. Buying his book, with royalties going to a good cause, is something ALL his readers should do!
I remember signing a petition when The Doctor was trying to get the laws changed so that those suffering might be able to obtain heroin legally. Have followed him since through his columns in various newspapers. Happy to purchase a book to once again do my little bit for a good cause.
I am always delighted when I picked up a book and can't put it down. I read this book in 2 days and knew that it would have to be passed on as a thank you to my own doctor. he's a quiet man and I was touched when he wrote me a personal thank you for the book and how much he was enjoying it.
