Elyse Friedman is the author of Know Your Monkey. She has written for screens large and small, radio, magazines and the stage. Her first novel, Then Again (Random House Canada) was a finalist for the 2000 Trillium Book Award. She has published poems and short fiction in journals across Canada and in the U.S.. Friedman is a graduate of The Canadian Film Centre.
