Brian McFarlane
Author of Clancy: The King's Story, hockey has long been a major part of Brian McFarlane's life. Always an enthusiastic fan, he played Junior A hockey for three years, and in 1951 attended St. Lawrence University in Canton, N.Y., on a hockey scholarship, winning recognition as an all-American centre. Since 1955 he has been a sportscaster in both Canada and the United States. He was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1995.
