







Toronto. February 7, 2008.
An investigative documentary by CBC's The Fifth Estate looked into the deaths of Chris Benoit, his wife and son, by reporter Bob McKeown. McKeown reveals that Benoit also may have been the victim of a physical condition brought on by years of undiagnosed concussions.
The episode called, Fight To The Death, features insightful comments from ECW author and wrestling journalist Irvin Muchnick. Muchnick was interviewed for the story which weaves its investigation around the history of modern pro wrestling.
Muchnick is author of Wrestling Babylon: Piledriving Tales of Drugs, Sex, Death, and Scandal and co-author of Benoit: Wrestling with the Horror That Destroyed a Family and Crippled a Sport; and is working on the forthcoming book Chris and Nancy: The True Story of the Benoit Murder-Suicide and Pro Wrestling's Cocktail of Death, all from ECW Press. Well-known wrestlers Bret "Hitman" Hart and Jake "The Snake" Roberts also appear in A Fight to the Death . It originally aired February 6, 2008 on CBC-TV.
